Doughnuts and Dunkin'
We had a super busy weekend with one of the major projects being Mama's move from Dacula. Mom is now a resident of Hiawassee. Here are the exhausted high school boys from Hebron who helped get her here. We felt 2 dozen doughnuts and Powerade were sufficient reward for all of their sweat and muscle strain. :o)
We had a slew of men from our church complete the quickest U-Haul unload I've ever seen, but it all went so fast, I didn't even have time to grab the camera. We are so thankful for the many helpers that gave of their time and energy! Here are mom and Josh in front of her new apartment.
She even has her own front porch mountain view!
Once Daisy's bed was unpacked, she was asleep. The pets had never moved before so they were anxious and exhausted, but have since settled in a bit.
On Sunday morning Josh was excited to take part in his very first baptism. We have a baptismal in the church, but it's my understanding it is only used when the weather doesn't allow us to utilize our beautiful lake!
It was such a sweet time to sing hymns with our church family and a wonderful time to rejoice in the young people's decision to follow Jesus. (In case you didn't catch on, this was the Dunkin' part of my post!)

Tell Judi - welcome to Hiawassee! The lake baptisms are awesome. Clemson was on a lake and it was the best. How great!
I love that y'all use the lake- very cool. =)
How cool is it that your Mom is there with ya'll???!! Awesome!! After knowing she was going to do that for such a long time, it's cool to hear it come to fruition.
And how cool is it that Josh took part in his first baptism! Way to go Josh!
Donna, I need to see YOU on here!! I miss seeing you!
Holls
Do you have any idea how much i love that you baptize in a lake? Some of our kids in the youth got saved at summer camp one year and demanded that they be baptized in the ocean immediately (we redid it back at the church for photo ops for parents). Thats awesome. And her apartment looks cute...and so does the doggie! Presh!!
