Road Trip

We recently took a looong road trip. Bean, myself, my mom and my sister drove to Florida to visit my Great Aunt Mary Lou. The total time in the car for Marah on the way there was 12 hours. She did great! She watched movies, napped, played with toys and babbled a lot. We made better time on the way home with an added pit stop to eat lunch with Josh's mom.

Aunt Mary Lou lives in the same retirement park where my grandparents lived. We haven't traveled there in over 10 years as AML would visit us after my grandparents passed away. It was nostalgic to see Village Green again.

During a rainy and COLD day we ventured to the mall which M loved. She bounced around in her stroller and smiled at anyone within a 10 foot radius. I guess it was a pretty big step up from Wal-Mart in her world. And what's a trip to a mall without trying on some stuff?

She was able to play on the indoor playground and had a total blast.




It was a short but super sweet trip. The snow is pouring down right now, maybe we'll have another snow day post...
