A Whole Hand!

That's how old my precious Marah Jean turned today. We began the festivities with our number 5 pancake on our "You are very, very, very special" plate.

And continued the party at preschool with cupcakes.
Gibby and Aunt Ashleigh joined us at Daniel's for lunch, but I neglected to take any more pics the rest of the day. Probably because I took all of these with M's birthday buddy, Leland.
Our sweet girl is at such a fun stage in development. She is learning to read and LOVES to read every grouping of letters she can locate. She is obsessed with Princess Aurora (thought we have yet to watch Sleeping Beauty. She wears a pink dress.) She is a gloriously helpful big sister with a compassionate and fair love of the world around her. She loves pink, gold and anything with sparkles. She enjoys preschool, church and play dates. She is excited about Kindergarten and swimming all summer long. She has a sweet tooth and will eat anything chocolate or ice cream related. Her favorite number was 4, but may be switching to 5 soon. She loves animals, drawing, coloring, soccer, basketball, dress-up, cars, purses, shoes, baby dolls, stuffed animals, books and riding her bike. The past 5 years of being her Mommy have been such a wonderful blessing. I love her to the moon and back, to Jamaica and back and to the stars and back.
