Fully Surrendered
Thanks SO MUCH to all of you who have been faithfully lifting us up in prayer. The weekend went well and we are simply relieved that it's over! Without boring anyone with details, we've been emotionally "spent" lately. (I stole that term from my wonderful writing friend, Jenny) The interview process has left us broken and humbled before the Lord. I suppose that sounds like we had a terrible weekend, but we really had a great time and we know the church family liked us a lot. Everyone (church and us) is simply continuing to pray for discernment in discovering if this job opportunity is what the Lord has in store for us. When final decisions are made, we'll be sure to let you know. The general news still stands; that we are moving SOMEwhere in 30 days.
On Wednesday night we are hosting our last youth event at FBC. We are having a True Love Waits Rally for the community. Please join us in prayer for many students to make the life changing decision to remain sexually pure until they are married!
On Thursday, my mom will be having surgery to put a defibrillator implant on her heart. We will be in GA Thursday through next Tuesday so that I can stay with her while she heals up. She is not nervous and they say the procedure is not very invasive or serious, but we still covet your continued prayer support!
I leave you with a fun picture of our youth during our recent scavenger hunt. :o)
