Two New Things

We borrowed Hooked on Phonics from the library. M loves it! She came home from preschool and asked to "practice her letters" immediately. So cute! Hope she always has a passion for learning.

And we built a Diva Pumpkin. (yes, it's really a squash. but the girls don't know that. it was free!)

I am excited to decorate for fall. And I am excited about dressing up my girls in coordinating costumes. But I still associate everything as the "first whatever" without Mama. Her birthday is Halloween Eve. So. I'm just an unpredictable mix of emotions.

But I didn't break down in the store tonight. A woman was asking me my opinion because I looked her daughter's age...and she said..."well, would you be embarrassed if your mother sent this to you?"

Sigh. I just wish she could still send me cards.
