the tale of two toothbrushes

so. it's valentine's day. i admit to not being a big celebrator of this mass comercialized holiday. i simply ask for a sweet card and a date night. i'm even okay if the date takes place the weekend nearest v-day. but the card should be given on the actual holiday. last year i got a barbie card. i am assuming it's because my sweet, but sometimes last minute hubby, got the slim pickings of the card rack at the drug store on his way home from work the very evening of v-day. but i was okay with that because it was his own written words that melted my sometimes-sappy little heart. and that brings me to the point of this post. love can be found in the little things. sometimes when our toothbrushes stand together in the ceramic holder, well i personally think that it kinda' looks like our toothbrushes are about to kiss. yep. that's ridiculous and silly. but i think silly moments make life more fun. as does finding love in the little things! whether it be romantic toothbrushes, love notes hidden in lunch boxes, flowers given just because, sweet text messages during a hectic day at work, scraping icy windshields or picking up dirty socks without grumbling, love is behind many of our actions toward our significant others. i find that those sweet, and sometimes unnoticed, gestures mean the very most. happy valentine's day!

I couldn't agree more! Love you and Happy V-Day!
hee hee. your toothbrush is even nice and feminine looking; while josh's is all manly. nice.
happy vday to you two!
sweet post.
well isn't that just so sweet...precious.
It appears to me that the male toothbrush has dipped the female, going in for the big kiss. You know what I mean. That incredibly romantic pose seen in movies but when tried in reality usually ends up with both of you falling down because you've lost your balance. :-) Thanks for sharing and yes, i do think the toothbrushes (?) are definitely getting fresh.
They are dancing!!
Allison's right. The whole dipping for a kiss thing really doesn't work that well. I like the pink and blue brushes. Is that b/c y'all kept accidentally using each other's?
Yes, those toothbrushes are very funny! When I pulled up your blog, I thought the looked in love. =)
Loved it!!
